Public IP and network details
Reads the IP address, country or region, ISP, and proxy detection result visible to external services for your current connection. If the lookup fails, the page keeps a clear status, does not generate estimated data, and does not call third-party public APIs.

What this information means
The results describe the network exit point visible to QvVPN's API when the request arrives. They can help confirm whether a route has changed, but do not by themselves represent connection quality or privacy.
Public IP
A public IP is the network address visible to external websites. After connecting to or switching routes, run the lookup again and compare the results to confirm whether the traffic exit point changed.
Country or region
Location details come from network registration and geolocation data associated with the IP address. They can help identify the exit region, but do not indicate the device's actual location.
ISP
The ISP field identifies the network organization associated with the exit address. Naming can vary between databases, and data-center routes may appear as a data center or upstream network.
Proxy detection
This field displays only the detection result returned by the API. Databases may be slow to update, so it should not be treated as the sole measure of account security, anonymity, or route availability.
Connection check
DNS leak check
DNS resolves website names into network addresses. A web request using a new public IP does not necessarily mean that DNS requests and web traffic follow the same path. This page's GeoIP result confirms only the exit details and cannot indicate DNS status.
For a complete check, review DNS settings in the operating system, browser, and client. If the browser uses separate encrypted DNS, resolution requests may be handled by the service selected in the browser. If the client offers DNS takeover, make sure the setting matches the current route configuration.
Verify the exit change
After connecting to the target route, run the lookup again and confirm that the public IP and country or region fields changed as expected.
Check browser settings
See whether the browser has its own secure DNS setting. A separate setting may bypass the resolution path provided by the client.
Check the system and client
Make sure no old DNS settings remain in the system, and check that the client's DNS takeover or route-specific settings have taken effect.
Check again after reconnecting
After changing settings, disconnect and establish the connection again. Then verify the exit details once more to avoid misreading results caused by an old connection or cached data.
Lookup privacy
Lookup requests are sent only to QvVPN's same-origin GeoIP API. QvVPN does not log lookup results, add them to account records, or use third-party public IP lookup services as a fallback. If the API is unavailable, the page displays only “Temporarily unavailable.”
