QvVPN Help Center

A central reference for account access, subscription updates, connection troubleshooting, route selection and billing rules. Identify the relevant category first, then check each item in order instead of changing several settings at once.

No email address required Unlimited devices 7-day, no-questions-asked refunds

Narrow down the cause, then address the connection issue

When something goes wrong, first determine whether the issue is with the account, client, current network or a single app. If the user panel cannot load the subscription, check the account and order first. If the client lists routes but cannot connect, check the network and client permissions. If only one app is affected, focus on rule mode, separate proxy settings and the app cache.

Do not delete the configuration, switch networks, change rules and reinstall the client all at once. Change one thing at a time and test immediately so you can identify what actually affects the result. The questions below follow this order and are collapsed by default; expand only the item you need.

Account access & subscription management

Help with account setup, subscription updates, device changes and getting the client. Treat the subscription URL as account credentials and store it securely.

Is an email address required to open a QvVPN account?
No. You can create an account with a username and password. Keep both secure and avoid exposing your login details in untrusted environments. After setup, use the user panel to view plans, retrieve your subscription and access the client page.
How do I update my subscription link?
Sign in to the user panel, copy the current subscription again, then open your client’s subscription manager and update it. If old routes still appear, delete the old subscription and import it again. Your subscription URL contains account credentials; never post it in public groups, screenshots or shared documents.
Do I need to buy a new plan when I switch devices?
No. QvVPN supports unlimited devices. Sign in to the user panel on the new device and retrieve the subscription again. When retiring an old device, remove its local subscription and login session so subscription details are not left on a decommissioned or transferred device.
Which operating systems does QvVPN support?
Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. Client access is provided through the user panel: sign in and open the downloads page to get the client and subscription for your platform. Marketing pages do not provide standalone installers or public subscription URLs.
Why shouldn’t I share my subscription URL?
The subscription URL lets the client retrieve the routes available to your account, so it functions much like account credentials. Sharing it publicly may let other devices consume your traffic and make unusual connections harder to investigate. To use your own devices, import the subscription separately from the user panel and store it securely.

Connection issues: troubleshoot step by step

First confirm that the subscription updates, then check the client connection status, system proxy or network extension, and finally narrow the issue down to the specific app.

The client says it’s connected. Why is one app still not using the accelerated route?
First check whether the client is using rule mode or global mode, then see whether a direct-connection rule excludes the target app. Some apps retain connection caches, so fully quit and reopen the app after changing rules. If only one app is affected, test the exit route in a browser, then adjust that app’s rules.
What should I do if a page still shows the old exit information after connecting?
Refresh the target page and close browser tabs that may retain the old connection. Then check that the client’s system proxy or network extension is enabled, and verify the exit route with this site’s IP lookup page. If the browser works but another program does not, check whether that program uses separate proxy settings.
How should I troubleshoot a failed subscription update?
Confirm that your current network can open the user panel, then copy the subscription again from the panel instead of using an old clipboard URL. Check for extra spaces before and after the copied text, then import it again in the client. If it still fails, keep the error message and submit it with a support ticket.
What should I do if I can’t reconnect after switching networks?
DNS settings, proxy permissions and connection status can vary between networks. Disconnect the client first, switch networks, wait until the system is online, then reconnect. If there is still no response, close and restart the client, and confirm that the system time is correct, the subscription can update and the selected route is still listed.
What should I do if no routes appear after importing a subscription?
First confirm in the user panel that the plan status and subscription content load correctly. Then check whether the client imported the subscription into the correct configuration group. Try updating it manually; if the configuration remains empty, delete that entry and import it again from the panel. Do not continue using an old configuration from an unknown source.

Route selection & stability

Choose routes based on your current location, the target service’s region and how the app connects, rather than relying on a single region name.

How should I handle slow connections during peak hours?
Pause bandwidth-heavy syncing, downloads and system updates, then choose a route in a region closer to your current location. If the target service is in a specific region, choose an exit closer to that service instead. You can switch between IEPL dedicated routes, relay routes and direct routes, using real-world access stability as the deciding factor.
How should I choose a route region?
For ordinary websites and daily apps, start with a geographically nearby region. For services with regional requirements, choose an exit matching the target content region. Do not judge by the region name alone; after connecting, check whether the service loads, signs in and transfers data reliably.
What can I do about frequent buffering while watching streaming content?
Confirm that the selected route matches the target content region, and stop background downloads, cloud-drive syncing and other tasks that continuously use the network. If only the current route buffers, switch to another route in the same region and reopen the playback page. If the player has cached the wrong region, quitting and re-entering usually makes verification easier.
How should I choose a route when an AI tool keeps disconnecting?
AI tools often use long-lived connections, so one successful page load does not guarantee stable follow-up requests. Prefer a route with a continuous connection and a matching target region, and avoid frequently changing exits while content is being generated. For command-line tools, also check whether the terminal inherits the client’s proxy settings.
How broad is QvVPN’s route coverage?
QvVPN covers 100+ countries / 180+ routes. The route list includes different regions and route types; choose based on the target service’s location, your current network and the app’s actual behavior. The number of routes provides choice, but does not mean every situation should use the same exit.

Plan billing & refund requests

Use the plan page and order details in the user panel as the source of truth for pricing, data resets, upgrade calculations and payment methods.

What monthly subscription prices and data tiers are available?
Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Choose based on your usual usage and data needs rather than looking only at the total data in one tier. Confirm current pricing on the plans page and in the user panel.
When does monthly subscription data reset?
Monthly data resets on the subscription start date, rather than clearing at the beginning of each calendar month. When checking your remaining data, review both your start date and current plan. Changing clients or routes does not change the reset date; actual usage is recorded in the user panel.
Do data packs expire?
Data packs remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Data packs suit users with irregular usage who prefer to consume data as needed; monthly subscriptions reset data each month on the start date.
How is a mid-cycle upgrade calculated?
The price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, review your current plan, remaining status and target tier in the user panel, then confirm through the displayed process. Do not place a duplicate order instead of upgrading, as this can split one plan adjustment across separate orders.
How do I request a refund?
QvVPN offers a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, submit a support ticket, select the relevant order and explain the request. Keep the order status and payment record available for verification. The full refund policy is defined in the Terms of Service.
Which payment methods does QvVPN support?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Open the plans page in the user panel, choose the desired option and view the payment methods available for the current order. If the order status does not update after payment, do not pay repeatedly; keep the payment record and ask through a support ticket.

Organize the details and submit a technical support ticket

State the platform, affected app, route region, troubleshooting steps already tried and visible error message. For order-related issues, include the order status shown in the user panel. The more complete the information, the easier it is to identify whether the issue involves the subscription, client, network or app rules.
